This piece is the left side of the diptych shown in the second picture. For these two pieces I used William Bradford’s painting “Coast of Labrador”, 1868, for inspiration, and a pattern based on an18th century, Indian chintz textile remnant that went awry in my stencil machine. The principle of entropy is the star of these works.
